Ste Foy Bordeaux

 

Yet another small area at the extreme eastern end of the region that covers some 300 ha of vineyards. It is very close to the wine region Bergereac a further 22 kmrs east and it's wines are very similar to those. It also produces some - similarly undistinguished - sweet whites from the well known white Bordeaux trio but with the addition of Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Mauzac that however cannot contribute to more than 10% in the blend.
