Ste Croix du Mont

 

This is probably the best appellation on the right bank for sweet white wines from late harvest as well as from noble rotted grapes, thanks largely to the terroir here that contains numerous vineyards featuring excellent drainage gravel soils. The well known trio of white grapes is used: Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle.
